Dimensions: 7,5cm top diameter X 12 cm tall
flower vase depicting a bird holding three flowers, wheel-thrown and hand painted with natural pigment, I used wax to block the glaze from covering our main subject and its finding from a long foraging day. The middle has an edge to give the distinct flower-vase shape and the bottom has a rim who is also unglazed. The bird stretches out through the whole vase reaching the back of its head with its beak.
this piece is for decorative and flower/plant use, but not food safe.
